One of the many benefits of joining the Virginia Association of School Nurses is our Continuing Education (CE) and Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) opportunities. Along with the National Association of School Nurses, we host annual conferences and webinars to help you develop professionally and fulfill state requirements necessary to renew your RN or LPN license every two years.
As a member, you will receive up to 15 CE hours, depending on the schedule, when you attend our annual conference. You will also gain full access to NASN’s Online Learning Center and monthly publications, which both list a variety of continuing education courses and learning resources — all of which are at no additional cost.
The Virginia Board of Nursing accepts CE hours from both VASN and NASN.
