Sometimes K-12 students face serious challenges that make success in the classroom more difficult. For instance, they are fighting hunger or lack reliable housing.
The Virginia Association of School Nurses believes that every family should have access to basic health services and be able to easily find assistance, should they ever find themselves in a vulnerable situation financially. To provide the best future possible for our students and their families, we find it valuable to share several low-income health care services in Virginia and financial aid resources to help families sustain and remain healthy, happy, and hopeful.
If you know of any additional resources that may help support other families in need, please contact us.
